Karen is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Regent University who comes to this field by way of working in women's health for 20 years.
She has had the honor to be with families during celebrations as well as loss, and have witnessed the ripples that affect multiple generations. Providing a supportive and safe environment for you during our discussions is an absolute priority. Therefore, Karen commits to being open and real while she holds your space in order to foster an environment of growth and healing. Together, you and Karen will revive your resilience, rediscover your grit, and renew your ability to persevere through hardship.
Karen is working on my perinatal mental health certification and is taking steps toward an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) certification in an effort to minimize the occurrence and effects of trauma.
Karen followed a prompting to become a counselor and seeks to help you discover strengths that develop in times of adversity. This breakthrough can help you overcome and move into a better future for yourself as well as for those around you. Let's take some brave steps together...
